During 2011/12 the group is examining the work of some famous living British painters and sculptors, starting with Mary Fedden and finishing with Banksy, including Anthony Caro, Frank Auerbach, Elizabeth Blackadder, David Hockney, Gilbert and George, Tracey Emin and others.

We are a friendly, sociable group. We enjoy discussions, watching biographies on film of various artists and listening to presentations or anecdotes from group members.

We meet fortnightly in two groups, one at The Crypt on Thursday morning and one at the Friends Meeting House on Friday morning of the same week. We do not stop for half term.

The Thursday group alternates with the Music Appreciation group.
