The aim is to study and talk about a diverse range of books.

Members do the reading and preparation at home for discussion at the meetings. Study is concentrated on themes, characterisation and social context of the books. Video is also used where appropriate.

This is a lively, interesting group with members able and willing to contribute to the discussion. All ideas are acceptable.

Recent readings include: "One Good Turn", "The Reader", "Book Thief", "Poisonwood Bible" and "Road Home".

New members are welcomed.
