The aim is to read and talk about a diverse range of books. At the beginning of each term the members choose which books are to be read, and the reading and preparation is done at home for discussion at the fortnightly meetings.

Discussion is concentrated on the themes, characterisation and social context of the books. Video may be used where appropriate.

This is a lively, interesting group with members willing and able to contribute to the discussions. All ideas are acceptable and new members are welcome.
