Brighton & Hove University of the Third Age
A chance for people with no former knowledge of Italian to study the "Living Italian" book by Maria Valgimigli which gives beginners a good basic knowledge of the beautiful Italian language.
The method is very easy to grasp and is also good fun. Emphasis is given to correct pronunciation and to speaking up individually during the class, which lasts one and a half hours with a coffee break about half way through.
Homework between lessons means that students get the equivalent of one and a half lessons a week.
