Some of our group are familiar with Brighton, while others are newcomers to the area. Our objective is to share and expand our knowledge of the history of Brighton & Hove, its places and characters, and sometimes also the wider Sussex area. We regularly invite outside speakers to introduce specific topics of interest. Recently we have had speakers covering historic agriculture in Sussex, the Tunnel Cottage at Clayton, Sussex windmills and the history of the seaside.
