True to the U3A principle of learning together, members of the Local History Group take it in turn to present what they have learned about a local area or a project. Members have surprised themselves by how much information they can gather from the local resources library, public libraries or local people. We are fortunate to have among our members people who have a wealth of local knowledge to share.

Ours is not a serious study group but we enjoy learning and share a good social rapport. It is hoped that everyone will give a short presentation; members have pleasantly surprised themselves when they find satisfaction from information gathering, learning new facts and sharing that information.
