This short course is intended for beginners, or those who wish to improve their skills.  We examine the facilities now included in many digital cameras through practical activities and use the instant replay facilities to show the resulting images to the group using television or computer.  We also investigate how to use a computer to improve and manipulate a digital image in a variety of ways.

The group has access to a small Wi Fi network, to which some members add their own laptop, so that, if you don't have access to a computer at home, there is scope for supervised computer practicals in class.
