This group meets to read plays aloud for enjoyment rather than critical analysis. Members are offered a chance to escape from their own reality into the worlds of mystery, romance and comedy.

Members take turns to choose the play and pre-read it – those who are apprehensive about this can work with another member. It generally takes two weeks to read through a play and we all have lots of fun. Half way through the session we break for refreshments and a chat.
