Social Group
This group has monthly meetings to discuss and arrange regular activities. It runs all year round, with an outing every week in the summer break.
Recent activities have included: ten pin bowling at the Marina Bowlplex; tours of Shoreham Airport, Chatham Dockyard, the Globe Theatre, Glyndebourne, the London Olympic site and Lords Cricket Ground; trips to Camden Market and the Imperial War Museum; visits to Greenwich, Lewes, Portsmouth, Arundel and Kew Gardens.
There are frequent trips to the theatre, including local productions and discounted matinées at London theatres. All outings use public transport. Some of our members regularly attend the Odeon’s Senior Screen on Thursday mornings.
